Five things we refuse to trade away
Culture isn't a poster in a hallway. It's what holds when a deadline slips, when a finding is inconvenient, and when nobody outside the room would ever know the difference.
We hire for instinct, not for a checklist
Tools change. People don't. The specifics of any role live in the job listing — these four things are what we're actually looking for underneath it, in every single hire.
Curiosity that doesn't switch off
You've taken something apart that nobody asked you to, because why does that work wouldn't leave you alone. That itch can't be trained into someone — and in this field, it's most of the job.
Rigour when it's inconvenient
Checking it a second time when the deadline says once. Raising the risk that complicates the timeline instead of the one that doesn't. Careful work is easy when there's room for it — we're looking for the people who stay careful when there isn't.
Writing people can act on
A finding nobody understands isn't a finding. A real part of this work is making a technical problem legible to the person who has to approve the budget to fix it — and doing that without dumbing it down.
Learns out loud
Asks the question in the room instead of quietly guessing at it. Nobody here is expected to already know everything — security moves too fast for that. You're expected to say clearly when you don't.
No degree required. No certification checklist.
We hire on demonstrated skill and a genuine interest in IT and security — where you picked those up is your business. Self-taught, mid-career switch, or fifteen years deep in the field: if you can do the work, we want to see it.
Four steps. No surprises.
You'll always know where you stand. This is the whole process — there is no hidden fifth round, and you'll hear back from us either way.
Send us your work
A CV, a GitHub, a writeup, a home lab — whatever shows what you can do. No cover letter required.
A conversation, both ways
What you're looking for, how we work, and whether the two line up. Bring your questions — this one is as much yours as ours.
A real task, not a quiz
Something close to the actual work, so you can show your reasoning. No whiteboard trivia, and never unpaid work on a live client engagement.
An answer, with reasons
An offer and the details behind it — or a clear no with feedback you can use. Nobody gets left waiting on silence.
Two to three weeks, start to finish.
We know you're likely talking to other people at the same time, so we keep it moving and we tell you where you are. If anything slips, you'll hear it from us before you have to ask.
The door stays open
Currently, no open positions available
We're not hiring at the moment — but we'd still love to hear from you. If you have unique skills or experiences, feel free to share your CV with us. We'll keep it on file and reach out when an opportunity arises.
